Especially since you are betting little.

In a shoe game Hit at -1 or below.

In a pitch game Hit at 0 or below.

You are seriously overthinking this.

The actual indices are fractional, and

the indices that we use are "averaged"

over all possible hand makeups.

It matters if you considered losing

or gaining 2 or 3 cents on a $25 bet.
