What penalty for use half deck estimation instead of quarter deck estimation in Single Deck game?
CVCX don't help me.

You could probably just count the cards as they come. Assuming 2 to 4 cards per hand, you'll get to a quarter deck in about 1 or 2 hands and you should get through 2 or 3 hand before shuffling.

Count rounds and use conversion factors per Million Dollar Blackjack's chapter The Art of Playing Single Deck, and indeed it is an art.

But my question is : How much is it worth the intellectual cost of estimating a quarter deck ?

CVCX shows no difference between Half, Quarter and even Full (I.e. no conversion)
