getting money into Canada

I might play in some Canadian casinos soon. The thing is, how do you get large amounts of money over the border?

I have thought maybe I could open a bank account just inside the US border and bring over $9k, then if I lose it just keep going back to the American bank and reloading.

But then if I accumulate a bunch of Canadian money, how to get it back into US? Can I as an American open a bank account in Canada, or would that cause problems?

I could just declare $10k+ and go back and forth, but then wouldn't I be at risk for civil asset forfeiture?

Why the heck come to Canada? It is all dry here now. Vancouver has the worst games ever. 45% pen for DD. And as soon as you start spreading, the cut 1/3.Alberta used to be very good. Now they cut 2 decks for the 6 deck game. I am not sure about Toronto yet because i have not yet lived there.

Ldubz,I totally agree with you. All countable BJ games are both PEN garbage and very crowded.Some stores even take counter measures(way less than 50% PEN DD) even if you play their badass games.Under these shitty conditions, you will experience what I believe is unusually large variance and swings. Counting cards is not worth much and just waste of time in this area.Actually you can take a shot at 240BB buy in 2/5 poker game and have much bigger edge over your opponents if you are a decent thinking player.

Games in Vancouver have not gotten any better since this was posted. Much better to play the Wa. State First Nations stores. I get asked how much cash I have every time I cross the border while going to the casino, but since I have a US bank account, I never have more than a few thousand with me, and withdraw more if needed in the USA
