Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow you jump to conclusions. Our amphibious friend is an AP but not much of a card player if I properly remember his posts. The key to his comment is gaining an advantage. Most games can be beat. The key is finding the advantage play and exploiting it. Bets made without knowledge of advantage will never add to an advantage.
meh, counting that's one way but there are loads of others(as tthree alluded).
but advantage? yes, that's the key, bingo, give that man a cigar, he has arrived.
so what needs to be added to the OP of our dearly defunct, locked thread?
the latter part, the period after the negative variance where you recommend small flat bets, needs what? an advantage, no?

I may taken advantage of the moment to poke fun at all counters. My apology Sage. I knew exactly what you meant.
i just don't believe in pre-advantage, only post-advantage. In tennis, the score keeper will say advantage so and so but only after the advantage is won. It's not much, but it's how I see things.
I see it as putting time and space between a large loss to prevent it from hooking up with another large loss. Not very scientific but easy on the player and his bankroll. It could result in the player getting by with a smaller bankroll while sill playing at higher stakes. Got to go , I think I see Norm heading over here with another lock.
So you have realized there is a way to beat the game but you don't believe in the long run?
I'm just trying to understand where you are coming from. I don't think anyone deserves to be stuck in ploppyland that has the mental prowess to learn a CC system.
That paragraph is like the game "find the one thing that is not like the other two."
no problem. taking advantage of the counters?, lmao, you really do have the idea.
well, unless you're past posting (sneaking in a bet after an event ) i don't see how a post-advantage is gonna help yah, lol.i just don't believe in pre-advantage, only post-advantage. rest assured there is such a thing as a pre-bet advantage.
meh, well i guess that could be a matter of utility, just let's always keep that advantage factor in there, that's the key.I see it as putting time and space between a large loss to prevent it from hooking up with another large loss. Not very scientific but easy on the player and his bankroll. It could result in the player getting by with a smaller bankroll while sill playing at higher stakes.
this fluctuation thing can be dealt with by proper bet sizing along with a sufficient bankroll, ideally you have that all worked out ahead of time, then you don't even have to think about it, sorta thing.
gulp, he definately has the advantage around here.Got to go , I think I see Norm heading over here with another lock.
I believe in the long run, everybody does, but it has no value to us as players. What are you going to do with it? Is it going to change the way you play blackjack? It gives us a lot of statistics which are frozen in time, until something new is added. Then new sims might cause a change. As long as you've included new verifiable information that gives you better results, the long term importance is less relevant.
