OP, what do you mean by "$500-600 bankroll"? Do you mean the amount you have to play for a session? Or do you mean the total amount you have to be allocated to card-counting? If that $500-600 is all lost, can it be replenished, or are you completely "out of the game" at that point?

Overall, you should really focus on what your total bankroll is -- amount you can allocate to gambling, then figure out what games are in your area, sim the game, and see what kind of a spread is required to beat the game to your level of liking. After that, figure out how much risk you're willing to take with your bankroll (ROR), then see what bet levels the sim would have you betting at.
