In the deck estimation drill, click Customize Tray Style. At the bottom, you can adjust the card thickness.

Yes, you can adjust the thickness in the Customize Tray Size but even the thinnest cards are not comparable to real cards used in casinos. I see card thinner than the thinnest card settings in Casino Verites that is what I am trying to bring up. Sometime one deck looks like 3/4 decks in real casino play but in casino verite it looks thicker. For some six deck game casinos uses an eight deck discard tray to hold six deck cards. The casino is doing that is mess up counters desk estimation accuracy.

Casino Verite was built with casino cards used in most LV casinos, which are thicker than poker cards. Bridge cards are even thinner. Much thicker in some places like Australia. I can adjust it to allow a thinner setting. Just hadn't seen anything thinner than the current thinnest setting.

The Ace of Spades (normally) shows the manufacturer's name?

When new cards are brought out to "open" a table, or to do the

daily change of decks, (generally around 7:00 a.m.) the decks

are removed from their boxes, so they are revealed to you.

Casinos in Australia use "Angel" playing cards which are manufactured and imported from Japan. Prior to use they measure 16.5mm(approx. 5/8") high per deck.

Watch them open a table and read the brand on the packs they bring out. I bought Gemaco because a local place clearly has Gempaks out for everyone to see.

on average every 5 hands (dealer + players) = 1/4 deck. Right or wrong that is how I first counted. Begin abuse now...

Your count was off, it was God awful off. You should have kept the jacks. That way, being off would be useful

In any event, including jaberwickys comment, how do you get 16 hands from a sp 21 deck. If you average 2.7 cards per hand, and playing heads up with the dealer for another 2.7, that equals 5.4 or roughly 10 hands per deck. Granted, you will average more cards per hand at so 21, but your deck has been circumcised by 4. Not to worry - the circumcision was orthodox.

The average hand in Spanish21 exceeds 2.7

    Remember, there are no tens.

I made note of that by incorporating he circumcised deck comment. The numbers still don't add up though in terms of hands played per deck.
