Oops, my mistake, but you're wrong, as well. His game of choice was 8/5 BP, so it pays 1K. So the W2Gs will be for 4OAK or better

That comment was only applicable to one downtown casino.

Winning money isn't always about beating the game. Sometimes its about beating the casinos system for rewarding players.

Having a net results of 1.5% - 2% positive, after overcoming the house edge, playing VP and or other electronic games, with comped rewards, is very realistic. In fact, you do need a big bankroll to start but it will become positive very fast if planned and executed properly.

As ZMF said, lots of work. Details better not discussed here.

I've had "coin in" greater than 6 figures over 4-5 hours without breaking a sweat -- $200-300/hr. EV.

Thanks for the link Fenix - good article. The response by Captain Jack was also very interesting. The Captain describes the shooter as someone who might have been employing his AP mentality towards the task at hand; i.e., "how do I kill more than ever before".

Here's my perspective - The reason that this event was not a total massacre, with hundreds or thousands dead, was due to the caliber of the weapon that was used. The shooter used an AR-15 style weapon that shot .223 caliber ammo. Yes - this will kill people at that range. But I would venture to speculate that most of the fatalities were hit in vital organs (head, heart, major arteries) and that most of the 500 wounded were hit in non-vital areas and had multiple gunshot wounds that were not life threatening.

So, if he was trying to be an "AP mass-shooter", he blew that just like the rest of his life. He didn't use a high-caliber military-style weapon (e.g. 50 caliber machine gun). Thank God! Ironically, I suppose one could say that gun control did work in this case by preventing access to military-style weapons. If he could have gotten one, he would have....
