The brother confirmed that he was a professional video poker player for 20 years and made millions. I wonder how he avoided being 86ed from MGM like bob dancer was.

I don't believe it. My brother has no idea what I make in casinos.

Does your brother hang out with you for days on end, like his brother.

A person capable of playing V.P. at his level, with an accounting background, etc.
    would be looking
for advantage at BJ; but his high level of play DOWNTOWN would
never be permitted at the sweaty downtown casinos if he was a card counter. I did
read elsewhere where one (unidentified) casino had 86'd him, but it failed to note
    why.

Earning millions from playing VP... How should that ever be possible unless he was hunting and hitting a couple +EV jackpots?

It's not. The media, or whoever provided this info, probably just totaled up W2Gs and/or CTRs. Playing a $25 unit, a FH will generate a W2G 1 in 87 hands, and add the smaller frequency contribution from bigger hands..

A full house pays 45 coins. Multiple by $25 will be 1125, under a hand-pay for anything 1200 or higher.

Oops, my mistake, but you're wrong, as well. His game of choice was 8/5 BP, so it pays 1K. So the W2Gs will be for 4OAK or better

That comment was only applicable to one downtown casino.

Earning > 1 million bucks playing V.P. from the inception, decades ago,
as I have heard it stated, is pretty damn easy to do, for those with the
patience and intellectual capacity to exploit the best high-limit games.

@ZenMaster_Flash: I still do not see how this is supposed to work without any +EV game, even when counting in comp points, tournaments, hookers and whatever else he may have been gotten from the casinos.

    .
The value of the comps, etc. when added to the nearly 100% return on the
best V.P. is an A.P. arena, for those willing to work the machines MANY hours
daily, off of a really huge bankroll. I would rather have a life.
    game. Not complex.
