    Kings' Bounty - Two Decks

I can't find any information on how the reduced number of decks affects the house edge on this bet. It is traditionally offered on 6+ deck shoes. Any ideas?

What about with a 4,8,10,20,50,100,1000 pay table? The regular pay table is 4,6,9,20,30,100,1000.

I thought King's Bounty played nearly identically to Lucky Ladies. If that's the case, the former AP Heat has quite a few helpful articles.

I've looked there, but he says the bet is only available on 6+ deck shoes so the information is outdated.

It is playable on DD even with the 6 deck pay table. ( just not much EV ). I have never seen the pay table you posted.

There are about 5 articles on AP Heat about it including DD specific. EJ's first article on it was specifically for the DD game (he tells a very flattering story about it). Google search for q=apheat+lucky+ladies+double+deck

Wanna get busted on DD? Bet lucky ladies for the max and hit the max payout.

I played a dd kings bounty table, got it. Only problem was that there wasn't anything on the sudebet. That was within the last year.

Did the same thing at with lucky ladies - nothing on the Side bet. If memory serves, my AP lunch buddy was playing with me. This had to be close to 10 years ago.

Have had lucky lucky suited 4 times, twice with $5 on the side bet, the other 2 times with nothing.

My local casino offers a sterling six-decker with great rules and deep pen'.
So, an acquaintance (ploppy) basic-strategist stood up and made his final
bet of the day. He had lost sufficient money and had bet $100 and $25 on
Lucky Ladies, instead of his usual $5 or $10. He hit the top prize - odds of
1,000 to 1. The "suits convention" that formed was comical.

I've gotten it twice, both times without money on the side bet. The count didn't warrant it. Not even close.

I hit the LL for a black chip at DD and after collecting my windfall, was promptly lifetime banned.

Effect of Number of Decks on IBA of Kings Bounty with Altered Paytable

    hitthat16,

With the paytable you indicated, I get the following IBA vs. Number of Decks (by CA):

    decks IBA
    1 -34.24%
    2 -24.65%
    3 -21.48%
    4 -19.91%
    5 -18.97%
    6 -18.34%
    7 -17.89%
    8 -17.56%
    1000000 -15.21%

As expected, as the number of decks increases, the IBA increases due to the increased likelihood of getting the suited 20's, especially the top payout.

On the other hand, the DD version is quite countable, despite the low initial IBA, because the EoR's are very large.

By the way, I'd avoid the 1D version, as the probability of the top payout is QUITE low

PM me if you'd like more information.

    Hope this helps!

    Dog Hand

Thanks for the information. I'm trying to figure out the zen count strike point to make the bet for both the KB9 and KB10 versions. I've also seen KB9 on double deck which is clearly not nearly as good, but probably still playable at times.
