Good to know I made so many folks feel good about their moral superiority. Real fact is that my spouse is 19 years younger than me, I can't meet her sexual needs and we agree to not hurt each other and when we do things that might hurt the other, we ensure we do it far enough and discreet enough so it's not thrown in each other's face. Wait. $130 for a roundtrip flight? If that is offered regularly, you could park a car in Vegas and fly for less than it costs to drive across states.

Moses, if you have access to any of the discount airlines AND "let your fingers do the proverbial walking", you can find fares quite cheap IF you are willing to travel on the "off days of the week" or NON-holiday/big event times. We have Frontier coming back and SWA at our airport. Sometimes there are VERY cheap round trip tickets to Vegas and other venues BUT you have to be flexible and willing to travel during NON-Prime days. So his fare isn't surprising...........he was smart enough to book a good one. And with points used on SWA I can get a non-prime flight for cheap IF I'm able to fly those days and it only costs about $11 for the tax/fee portion.

I've always been jealous of the discounts you Yanks seem to enjoy when flying within the confines of the US. Cheapest flights I can get from my location to Vegas is $300 USD and I don't play big enough to have a host even entertain the idea of an airfare comp.

No amount of discount would get me to fly Frontier (or Spirit). Besides the endless nickel and diming, Frontier probably has the worst on-time record of any airline.
