can CVCX tell you the optimal time to spread and drop hands?

I typically spread from table min ($5 or $10) to $100 max. If I'm on DD, NMSE, whatever.... but on 6 deck, can I use CVCX to calculate when I should optimally add a hand? Pretty much everywhere I play requires 2x the minimum bet to play 2 spots, and and at least 3x the minimum bet to go 3 spots

I've typically just gone to 2 when the count is like +2 or more, but not sure if that's really right.

Your max EV, on typical rules will likely be at CVCX +1 (floored) to spread to 2. Experiment though with CVCX to determine what is right for your bankroll and tolerance, which may end up being plus 2 or 3.

what is right for you is based in numerous factors, but CVCX will give you the answer.

Also, understand what floored means, and its impact on spread. In other words, my answer could and should be construed as true 1.5 based on typical rules. I can elaborate further if desired.

Keep this in mind, adding hands only in positive counts is a sure way to get an unwelcome tap on the shoulder.

In most situations, it is best to bet two hands at all counts.
