Mardi Gras Casino Resort and Dog track Nitro WV.

    Outside of Charleston WV.
    $5 - $300, $10 - $300, $25 - $500
BJ tables crowded, Slots only in high limits room, no table games.
8D (Hand shuffled) - Cut to 8 stacks, shuffled, repeat
S17, Split x 4, DAS (any 2), No surrender, Pen 75% was worse I saw. Requested 7 deck penetration after bad shoe and got it, but I like to tip.
No wonging in on $25 tables. Wong out and the dealers clear chip your box, until you come back. Will hold your spot for 45m or so.
Played on 1 $5 table where everyone was counting individual ranks out loud including dealer. He got pretty good at guessing his down card and players draw cards. Pit thought it was fun and joined in. Craziest thing.
10x betting spread on $25 table routine, 20x on $5 table routine.
    Generally poor BS players. (Duh)
    Hope this report is OK.

Surely you jest. Did you actually ask directly for improved penetration, as stated?

That is one of the dumbest things that you can possibly do.

You may as well be wearing a hat with a sign reading "I count cards."

What does your tipping (correct usage: "
toking") have to do with anything?

The "clear chip" is commonly known as a "
    lammer", actually a "spacer"

used to group chips so as to aid in counting them in the dealer's chip tray.

This is a fair game - that is, it can be - if you memorize names and faces of dealers who cut off no more than 1.5 decks

The House Edge on this game is 0.43% and is a marginal game as described, but VERY good (due to S17) for a low stakes game.

Go off hours and find a $5 table and practice betting either 1, 2, or 3 red chips while getting your Basic Strategy down 100%

Later your spread to 20-1 will be rewarding -- that is just as long as you have a bankroll to suppress your R.O.R. ["Risk of Ruin"]

A good bankroll for you ~ at the $5 table ~ would be northward of $5,000, but if you can accept a moderate chance of going broke

you could probably start with $3,000.

Mr.Zen! Is there any trick in your reportoire in order to achieve a decent penetration from any croupier without being labeled as a card counter? Could you explain at least one?
    Thank You

The exact conversation was (me jokingly) "Can you cut deeper into the shoe, that last shoe sucked" , dealer "How deep?", me laughing "How about 7 decks", dealer "done", me "I was just f'ing around, but thanks." TIP paid. My BS has worked it's way up to 100%, I use hi-lo, and about a dozen of i18. Never split 10's, hate the dealer call out to pit.

The only thing I will mention in public is my toking tiny and frequently.

If you are playing BLACK you ask for a stack of reds when you buy in.

That will seem like you are going to make some side-bets; but you
use it exclusively for tokes. With your first bet you can make
eye-contact with the dealer, and say something like, "I hope that we
both win so I can keep on making my contributions." Be sure to say
"WE" and not "I"; and the reason for that is obvious.

If you are doing well, you can toke in RED when the dealer is about to
place the cut card, when the Pit Critter is watching closely, etc.

If you are a GREEN bettor than a $20 stack of reds suffices nicely.
If you are winning feel free to ask for a stack of whites again.

I prefer to bet for the dealer, not to toke directly.
That gets the dealer a little involved in the outcome.

I let the dealer decide. Direct toke, bet with me, or side bet if he/she wants. Mostly they choose to bet with me. If they say, "It's up to you" or "You choose", I toke them directly.

I searched my voluminous sorted email by date and found naught.

Try again please. Put BOSOX in the subject line.

That means that you had a typo, simply an incorrect email address.

Just give me your email address, or a "throwaway address" if you like.

ZMF, thank you, I received your email. Sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused all due to my lack of knowledge on computers.
