Reduce the Aces to ZERO and Side Count them, then the balance is very simple.
Aces are crucial in this game and failure to Side Count them is an egregious error.
If you do not want to Side Count Aces, the tag of -3 is fully correct
for the H17 game, and -5 is correct for the S17 games.
Spanish21 S17 E.O.R. precise, then rounded, then tags:
2 ... +0.0369% +0.04 +1
3 ... +0.0482% +0.05 +1
4 ... +0.0708% +0.07 +2
5 ... +0.0885% +0.09 +2
6 ... +0.0465% +0.05 +1
7 ... +0.0040% +0.00 0
8 ... -0.0270% -0.03 0
9 ... -0.0173% -0.02 -1
X ... -0.0481% -0.05 -2
A ... -0.1227% -1.20 [Side-Counted]
Because Spades are worth more for the bonuses,
the SPADED 6's, 7's, 8's have E.O.R.'s as follows:
6 = +0.0478%,
7 = -0.0009% (note: sign change)
8 = -0.0261%

7 = -0.0026%,(note: sign change)

Please explain how -0.0408% (8) is rounded to -0.03 and not -0.04; -0.0929% (9) is rounded to -0.05, and not -0.09; and -0.1682% (10) is rounded to -1.20, and not -0.17.
These simply stated calculations do not lend themselves to a simple, clear understanding. Need for you to clarify how you reached those results, and suspect others do as well.
IIRC, your earlier post for S17 EOR's, rounding and tag values did not reflect similar issues.
Thanks in advance.

Quick advice for an apparent newb. Read the online book that our host, Norm, has provided free of charge. Surf around the tool bars and you will find it. Great resource.
Then, after digesting that, if you want to dig deeper for a well-rounded education, consider buying a few staple blackjack/card countung books by Don Schlesinger, Stanford Wong and Peter Griffin.

Yeah like Frank said, there's some minor errors in the rounding.
Anyway, are Katarina Walker's EOR figures incorrect then? Because the Ace going from -0.07 in a H17 game to -0.17 is a HUGE difference.
So there's no way you can have a level 2 balanced count without an ace side count then? I know the benefits of keeping aces counted in SP21/Pontoon are substantial, but I'm not at that level yet. It is something I wish to improve upon, but for now I was just after a level 2 count with appropriate indices.
