Anybody Play in Green Bay Lately

Its been awhile since I played Onedia, and was wondering if blackjack conditions have changed in the last couple of years. Do they still have the 3:2 single deck blackjack. How is the place for heat lately?

Last time I was there, only one DD game on main floor. The rest were in high limit. I might find myself there soon.

One SD game with BAD rules.
    H17, d10,rsa,nrs, with a cut card.
Rumored to be a casino that cheats.

Disagree about the single deck having bad rules. They are compatible with all the single deck games in Reno. You aren't going to find much better single deck rules now days anywhere except in Wendover. CBJN lists this game at .45 house edge. Most Reno single deck games listed at .44 house edge which isn't much of a difference.

As far as cheating goes, I never felt I was cheated in Green Bay. I know CBJN has this warning for a lot of WI casinos. I'm really only aware of one WI casino that was shut down for awhile for cheating.

I just checked my records back to 2004 and out of the last 12 times I played Green Bay I only lost 2 of the 12 times I played. However, most of my play in Green Bay has been at their 2 deck game and not their single deck game.

Games are the same as your last visit there. Best rules are on the 6 deck tables. I've not played a lot there but haven't encountered any heat when making fairly substantial spreads. Cheating there is non existent (same for all other WI casinos in my opinion).

I played at Oneida in March. Agree with Flash on the SD game; it's total crap. The green chip DD game in the 'Hi-Limit' area has Double Any, DAS, but about 50% pen. Garbage.

Getting all the smoke out of my clothes wasn't worth the trip for that.

The latest report in CBJN is not mine for Oneida, but it doesn't mention DAS being allowed on 2 deck. Are you sure about that? It is allowed on 6 deck. My report on Onedia was from a few years ago and this it what I reported at the time.
2 tables, 1 deck, pen 0.5, min $15, max $500, rules h17, d10, rsa, nrs except aces, sc
2 tables, 2 deck, pen 1.0, min $15, max $500, rules h17, rsa, nms, sc
11 tables, 6 deck, pen 1.4, min $5, max $500, rules h17, ds, ls, rsa
Many DD games in the upper midwest only have 50% pen. It doesn't mean they can't be beaten. You just need heads up or another person at table.

    Preferential Shuffling is (clearly) cheating!

You may be right on the no DAS on the DD game. The only thing worse than the rules there was the atmosphere. Ugh...depressing place.

But the player is prosecuted if caught cheating. Clearly a bullying situation.

I think we're talking about cheating casinos only (not players that cheat). Anyway, you needn't worry about being cheated by any WI store in my estimation.

You got me Tthree. I wasn't including "shuffle ups" in the cheating category.

That is why I like a game with a shuffle card. Unless they break the deck and shuffle you know exactly when they are going to shuffle.
