I can win without taking advantage of dealer mistakes in my favor. I don't let a cashier give me too much in change, and I don't let a dealer give me an improper payoff. Not sure if there is any impact with the pit critters, but they always know....since where I play the dealer is required to call them over when there is a pay-out mistake.

And if I'm a fool for taking this approach....then I'm a fool. But I sleep well.
Sometimes you can annoy other players (one hand to two, doubling on A,8, hitting against a 5,6 etc.) and then they may get back at you. Sometimes players like a dealer and would not want the dealer to get fired over a mistake. Sometimes, a ploppy believes "do unto others..."

No need to get upset about it, you had already lost the hand.
