Ilani is the one and only place where I have been backed off. Not a bad game for me with decent penetration, but they seem to be quick to back people off, or maybe it was just me.
What was your spread? Does Ilani flyer out? I played at Ilani a few times earlier this year, wasn't backed-off but it depends on the shift, day of week etc. I played mostly on the mornings on weekends. The penetration was usually great.
I was playing a spread of $25 to $200 X 2. I had a really good shoe and should have left, but stayed around for another shoe before getting the tap. Nothing dramatic and no flyer, but I wish I had been a little more careful. I'm still learning.
