Tell us if
I believe I was dealt seconds. I heard a strange snapping sound sometimes when the dealer was pitching and shortly after when I picked up my hand I had three cards instead of two. I immediately stopped playing with her.

"Don't Cast Your Pearls Before Swine" (Jesus)
My one night in Laughlin, I was playing against an older dealer. His hand motion was odd. I had no idea if he was cheating or not. I wasn't going to stick around and find out.
I was once approached by a dealer, who knew I was counting, to see if I wanted "assistance". I Kaiboshed that one real quick, threatni g further, if he ever mentioned it again, I would chat with management. I never discounted the possibility that it actually was a management set up. If it was, I passed the test.
One time I bet $600 at a table with a $500 max bet, after I noticed the plop sitting beside me making > table max wagers without the dealer rectifying the situation. Of course once I lost the hand I told the dealer to check my bet in case I bet more than the table max. Tough to say that with a straight face. What can I say, if you're not cheating you aren't trying hard enough. Anyway, if I even suspect cheating I bounce.
At one casino in palm springs, after counting a DD all morning and winning a few grand, I saw the pit boss putting extra fives into the deck. I left the table immediately and then got backed off immediately. So they already planned to back me off but wanted to try to steal the money back first.
Don't know if I've ever gotten cheated on table games.
But plenty of times casinos having renigged on promotions, like play X amount and get Y amount back. They just say it wasn't recorded or card wasn't in properly.
Have had teammates at a drawing where the casino allowed big loser ploppies put drawing entries into drum but not allow others to do so. Even though they stated it was a strict policy and no one could add tickets after 8pm or whatever time, no exceptions. Same drawing, casino said first picked gets top prize last picked gets lowest prize and so on in between. They had two drawings. When my teammates got picked first, they said it was other way around and last winner gets top prize. On the second drawing, they re-reversed it when my teammate got picked last and they said last winner gets lowest prize.
Have had casinos turn off my account and teammates accounts who've accumulated a bunch of freeplay.
Had a big loss rebate (not the one you're probably thinking of) where you could redeem like 5k/day in FP for your first 50% back, then the next 50% back the following week. No problem if you lose $20k. Big problem when they changed it to $300/day max. Can't even get the full 50% ($10k) in the first week. Gaming was called and they (somehow) sided with us and we got what we deserved....although with a little extra cost in expenses.
Sometimes talk to a boothling or manager or someone higher up about how a promotion works. They say it's good on any machine, etc etc. Then once we play it they say oh no it's not good on that machine, sorry, read the fine print!
One place tried to screw us on our freeplay so we couldn't pick it up in a timely fashion, by not allowing two sets of freeplay to be picked up within 30 minutes of each other. So we just locked up a bunch of machines on busy nights, playing extremely slowing, waiting it out. Bartenders knew we'd been tipping well before that, but now we just locked up machines that locals couldn't use and we weren't tipping. It didn't take too long before they all complained to management and got the thing reversed (at least I assume that's what happened).
That being said, oftentimes when I'm evaluating if a play is worthwhile and some of the logistics behind it, part of it is how likely I think we are to get cheated and possibly how much recourse we have if we do get cheated. This also includes flying or driving with large quantities of money and it getting seized. Sometimes you have no recourse or it's simply not worth it. Other times you do and it is worth it. But before going into a play, you should think about the possibility of getting cheated, money stolen, etc.

I was cheated. Four times I got BJ and the dealer misdeal between my hand and his hand by dealing a "second card" to to third base and a half even though tyler was no betting spot there nor a first card. The first 3 times the Floor made him pay me but after his break they wouldn't pay the fourth one. It was like he explained he was trying to cheat and the casino changed their procedure to allow him to do it. I left after that one. In all years of casino play I have never seen a second card dealt where no first card was there already. It was obviously intentional.
