    Give it a try!

Posted the following on my Twitter account:

Monsieur G? @BlackjackSquare Stop casinos from abusing their patrons. Please retweet...
    "Only idiots play 6:5 Blackjack"
    Real Blackjack pays 3:2
    Spread the word!

If those of us who have a Twitter account spread the word, MAYBE something can come out of it.

In my fantasy, I have enough money to print T-shirts I would give for free at McCarren Airport saying "Only morons play 6:5 BJ" and distribute it to all incoming visitors.
This stupid thing has to stop.

When it first started, I had no 6:5 BJ lapel pins manufactured and mailed them to folks.

More important question: how much would be your coffin after the owners found out who put it up?

Like Norm, we at bj21.com extensively studied the 6:5 issue about fifteen years ago, and even tried to rent a mobile billboard truck in Las Vegas. Besides being prohibitively expensive, none of the companies would even consider renting for a "No 6:5" advertising campaign, because the casinos are their biggest clients. Las Vegas is still a company town.

You mean that they would find a corpse to put into a coffin for burial?

Frank: What about a Political Action Committee? Could that work? If financial limits are an issue, start a, Independent Expenditures PAC that falls uner CU v FEC.

I'm sure Adleson would LOVE to donate to the "32 Super PAC!". /s

If it is accurately updated then it looks like that other than in Nevada, it is probably only red chippers getting crushed by 6/5. It would be very interesting to know how the % has increased, or whether it has increased at all in the last 12 months in casinos other than those in Nevada. Casinos are surely aware of the loud grumbling. I believe your site is the most highly trafficked blackjack site around. If you wanted to protest you could put a huge headline like banner on the home page saying NEVADA IS WORST STATE WITH 36% OF BLACKJACK TABLES PAYING 6/5.

Other than the pros, I think more and more folks who travel strictly for playing BJ (sophisticated ploppies, CC'ers) are less inclined to travel to Las Vegas. For those who want a little extra (parties, shows, sex plus BJ), Las Vegas offers sufficient BJ, good food, parties, sex etc. I think Las vegas hurts more from all the slot players who have destinations much closer than las Vegas, the seniors who would sit for hours to be bus'ed to Las vegas and the Ca gamblers. Gambling is just the extra these days, not the main event.

If a casino did that it would crush the competition. At least with those who want to play BJ. And the competition would force other stores to offer better games with 3/2.
A BJ player would have to be really dense to see that sign and not be influenced by it. Yeah, there are some dense ones out there, but still.
If they haven't done that it suggests collusion between them. And that would not be at all surprising.
I remember seeing those signs on my last visit. Soemthing like "all our tables are 3/2" etc. Unfortunately, the strip is where the attractions and ploppies are and they dont care. The locals seldom play on the strip.

    .
Palace Station had a billboard like this last year. They also had magazine adds with the same theme. They now have more 6;5 blackjack than 3;2 tables.
