We have a feature here to rate posts as helpful or not that I think is of value. But, we also have a feature to rate entire threads that I believe could be better put to use. Fact is, there are really excellent threads, and there are threads that are (put your own derogative term here) not useful, and those that are in between.

All members can rate threads. I suggest that members use this facility to warn users of worthless threads as well as valuable threads.

When viewing a thread, you will see a menu item “Rate This Thread”. Simply click on the rating that you think applies.
