Worst side bet in the world

I defy anyone to beat this:

2 jokers in a six deck shoe.
Side bet payout: one joker - nothing. two jokers - 50:1.

IF it doesn't have to be on your first 2 cards, AND 5.5 decks are dealt, AND the game is dealt face down,, AND you can keep hitting after you bust, AND...

Does anyone play after the first joker appears?

Does anyone try for a third ace at Stud Poker when two aces have been folded? Does anyone look for a meld at Gin when all possibilities have been discarded? Yep.

Once I played at a casino with the Joker promotion. They put a Joker in a 8 deck shoe. When the player gets the Joker, he can declare any card he wants the Joker to be. For example, the first two cards is two and Joker, then he should say Joker is nine, then double his hand. However, if he got an ace after double, he can't change the value of Joker. The value of his hand would be 12. If the first two cards are Joker and face (or ace), it is Blackjack for the obvious reason. If the dealer gets the Joker, he just put it on the discard tray. It makes the game more fun. The ploppies don't know which value to choose if he got the Joker after getting a few small cards first. A lot of them said face and made their hands 15 or 16, albeit it should be declared ace to make it a soft hand. Don't know what advantage the players gets from the promotion. When I returned the next night, the casino has ended the promotion early unexpectedly.

With a deuce and joker, and able to assign any value, I would assign a value of 19

Nope. And most ploppies asked the same question when they first got the Joker. It has to be 2 to 10, or ace that could be 1 or 11.

It's a game people would line up to play even if there were no jokers
