    Gifts for Hosts

What would be a good gift to give to my host? Ive never gotten a host a gift before, but i think that this one deserves it. Shes a young woman in her 30s.

Have any of you guys gotten your host a gift? What was it?
May the Variance be with you.

I don't think they can accept gifts. It sets up the idea of collusion to take the casino for big money away from the tables. They can get fired for that.

    Tthree is fully correct.

Gifting ANY casino staff is strictly forbidden.

I know hosts that lost their jobs because they accepted just one gift. They always try to bring their clients with them wherever they end up next. I wouldn't go telling the casino about it if you choose to give her a gift.

Make sure the batteries are included, and fully charged. Plus an appropriate lubricant

What's so funny about a battery operated knife sharpener?

Oh my. Note to self, never accept buzzing packages from Joe Mama, lol. I've known two people who have given gifts, but I personally wouldn't. As previously stated, they could lose their job. Though it's a nice gesture, not everyone sees it that way. I'd hate for someone to lose their job or get that uneasy feeling about accepting.

Hosts accept gifts and chips for that matter. A gift card would work fine.

They can accept token gifts usually with a value of less than $100. One friend of often makes a bet on a popular NFL game for $55 bucks and gives the host the betting ticket so that if it wins the host gets $105. For a female host perhaps show tickets or a spa gift certificate to another casino (even better if you can get the comped). If you give bigger amounts expecting something "illegal" in return you'd better know ahead of time the type of reception your offer would receive. Better to give frequent smaller innocent gifts than one big gift that could get you and the host in trouble.

Just in case anything you give them should be on the Q.T.
