    REKO-F: 17 vs Ace, H17, LS

    6 decks, H17, LS

For 17 vs Ace, REKO say: ever surrender. REKO-F too.
    Really ?
IMHO for counter it is "never surrender" or "surrender below -2"
    Of course basic player surrender.

"Surrender below -2" is from CVIndex.
"Never surrender" because if is the good play at high bets.

17vA is an extraordinarily close play little affected by the count, which is to say it really doesn't matter what you do. Surrender lowers variance a bit.

All my surrender indices that are not quick to gain EV when the index is exceeded are risk averse. That zero variance does wonders for you especially when you have a big bet out which is uniquely against the play for 17vA (you play the hand with enough T's left) and usually the case for other plays.

    Thanks.
    I checked.
Even with a huge spread, SCORE are same (i.e clearly inside SE).

For a six deck game the index for surrendering 17 vs Aces is useless even if you generate the correct risk adverse index in running count mode. If you must deviate from 17 vs Aces in a six deck game do it in true count mode. You can convert the true count to running count for each individual decks since running count indices are depth dependent. That would be your best bet if you choose to deviate from 17 vs Aces in a six deck game.

However, it would be different if you are playing a double deck game.
