Super High Count

Had similar incident recently, got spanked 70 units in ~15-20 minutes. I have to remember that logically the worst spankings always occur when the count is high, although the emotional part of my brain causes me to question this logic.

We all know it - the worst feeling in BJ - buy in after buy in after buy in - all down the drain. But you can't stop because the count is still high. So the last hand of the shoe comes out. Dealer shows an ace and you have dogsh..t. So another buy in to insure. Dealer doesn't have BJ and flips over a 9. "Thank you for playing sir - better luck... "

^ The 9 under the A is one of my biggest pet peeves in this game. Reminds me of the old love/hate list somewhere on Snyder's website.

I recall a session where I was bought in for 70 units at the last hand in one 2d shoe. After last hand i only had 10 in front of me. Pretty much flat betting max after the 2nd hand and it was a deeply cut. Literally losing every hand or pushing, dealer didn't even have blackjack with ace showing, every double lost etc. This was also at a time where I just starting to up my unit size... which made it hurt even more. I was happy i was able to stick with the math and keep cool but still was just blown away at such bad variance. Was one of those times where the game reminds you how nasty it can be...
