    Rebuying Advice

Hi all, i have a question regarding rebuying in for max bets. When you get to the max bet stage and you know that you will be max betting for a little while, if you lose your current bet would you suggest just buying in for one max bet at a time if you lose and having the dealer call out each time you do that or buy in for a few max bets and get it over with? This is in regards to vegas unrated play. Thanks all

Elementary. Don't do anything that generates a call out.

Reasonably sure this is low stakes. Continued buyins simply makes him look like some degenerate. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes you're right freightman. My max bet is only $160 but still seems to get some looks from the pit

I always have enough chips ready so a rebuy is not necessary.

Thanks Jabberwocky, i will start getting chips from other games before i play. I also have noticed even though i am not betting blacks, once i bet more than a hundred in green the dealer yells out to the pit. Any ideas on keeping the dealer quiet?

    yeah, tape his mouth!
Remember , most casino staff will only want you to lose if it affects their job. They only reason that they ever want you to win is likely they will get a tip. There are few casino staff that are gamblers or ex gamblers and would understand and respect your effort of trying to play a winning game. At the end of the day they also need to survive and will not think more than twice to end your play. Those that respect AP earns my respect . i always try not to push their limit and keep it respectful when I encounter staff like that.

The staff that do understand and respect AP actually understand how a casino take advantage of their customers. To me it is about survival , same thing for them. Back to topic , some stores you would need to buy a few more max bets once you get to that territory. i usually do what jabberwocky does . There are many ways to do thing , make it complicated for them to solve you as a puzzle.

Don't worry about it, stand up and look like you're upset and steaming, look at your watch and then throw enough money to make your wager onto the table and put the bet into the circle. It's usual that all the attention comes when you're losing and buying in for your max bet over and over again. But look around, real steaming gamblers do that all of the time, then when the shoe ends they regain control, color up and hit the door.

    +1 for bigplayer's post.

    Meanwhile you need to
    understand that it is to
    your advantage to buy
    in repeatedly for small
    amounts [10 to 20 units]
    ad nauseam.

Thanks for the tip bigplayer. Now that you say that, i have noticed some players who are down to their last few chips and looking annoyed throw them all into the circle and stand up as if expecting to lose then walk away. I will try that, but instead of walking away i will rebuy in again for max, put it in the circle and continue to stand. I need to work on my act, i have been previously been pulling out money for max bets looking fairly motionless which probably doesnt look too good.
