From the many states that I have played in in the United States, I would have to say that California gets really close to Las Vegas. Been back south, the midwest, and the east coast. The Gulf Coast was okay with the likes of Tunica, Biloxi, and Louisiana. We have a really good publication that is free every month and it is called Southern California Gaming Guide: http://www.thegamingguide.com/. It is a great guide for Southern California Casinos. Some people still say to this day that the El Cortez in Vegas and Barona in Lakeside, CA(San Diego), has some of the best blackjack in the country. The reason Barona(Max Rubin is employed there) or the likes of San Manuel, which has now taken some of Harrah's Rincon's blackjack dealers, don't get recognized as much by Casino Player and Strictly Slots are because tribal casinos don't disclose their yearly earnings. I know I might be going off on a tangent, but one of the reasons why Las Vegas will continually lose gambling customers is because California has 193 active casinos and the dreaded Vegas strip rules of 6:5 payout on blackjack. Why do many true gamblers need to go to Vegas when California is continuing to build more casinos in some of the most remote areas? Other than Las Vegas, California has the second most casinos in the country. Just my two cents about the casinos I've been to throughout the country. I could be wrong though.

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
