What was more interesting was the link within on the local government shaking the casino down for "host" fees.

Besides tipping cash or chips, is there other stuff that can get you into trouble? Okay, so giving dope as tip is but how bout a ticket to a show or a tap on the butt or handing the hot waitress a room key along with a big tip cause you think she is flirting with you. I have seen players put arm around the hostess's waist or make lewd comments...

A firm smack on the ass with a, "Damn, big tits and a nice ass, I could have some fun with you....here you go babe" *hands her 3 quarters and room key*, is a sure fire way to get laid. She will surely appreciate the compliments of her body, as well as the gesture of the larger than average tip ($0.75 instead of the usual $0.25 or $0.50) she received for bringing you 2 waters, an orange juice, and a coffee with extra sugar & creamer.

You'll definitely get laid.....more like laid out by security.

Then afterwards you just gotta say, "It's just a prank, bro, why are you so mad?"

Drunk people do some strange things. Last week I was playing with one other guy at the table. He was rather drunk. He kept wanting to buy me whisky. As the evening progressed, he offered me a room key and even wanted to get me a ring. I declined everything. Thankfully he was very kind and polite.

Waitresses want tips in money. They don't want to goto your room and probably do not want drugs, lol.

Sands Beth is not a good game....def beatable w/ PA rules and dealers w/ good pen...won $$$, but a grind for sure!

They were also recently fined, $25K I believe, for mixing decks in BJ...didn't pertain to me as I was on CSM

Having said that, there is always great live music and the Lasagne at Buddy V's is the BOMB!!!...also have the NYC infamous 'Carnegie Deli' sanges....great, too...otherwise, not worth the trip

There was a story a few years ago about a player who got arrested trying to tip a dealer a bag of weed.

I have a related story to tell. It happened recently in a small store in east coast. There is this dealer. After I won three hands in a row modestly, when he paid me, instead of giving me 4 greens, he gave me 3 greens and 5 reds. I said nothing and kept playing as usual. He still paid me in greens and reds. Then he began to tell the table that he just moved here from Las Vegas, and how generous the players in LV are. As I know, all dealers in this store are great, except this new guy from Las Vegas.

I have not been to Las Vegas for a while. Do dealers demand a cut these days?

Probably more the individual than a trend. There is a casino in Reno where I played regularly that had a dealer who used to try to demand tips from everyone. She would get quite nasty. I was playing at her table (she shifted to the table while I was sitting there) and there was another player, a lady who was completely wasted. Later the PB came over to ask if the other player was bothering me. I told him no, but his dealer was. They moved her off the floor and I never saw her again. Don't know what happened but she was the only dealer in the entire store who was that way.

Some dealers feel entitled to some of your winnings. There's two of them at my main store. One of them I'll tip for help with some other non-blackjack related stuff. The other I don't play with. They're the most greedy, money-driven people I've ever met. One of them practically threw a tantrum when someone got a royal on UTH and only tipped him like 2$. The other dealers there aren't like that. The rest of them appreciate tips, but don't expect them. I've only personally met a handful of tip demanding dealers in the South West. I have no experience on the East Coast.
