I'm opting out of this conversation, as I should have many posts ago. I'm gaining nothing from this discussion, except a headache.

I also feel it to be very ironic that you address me as "Mr. Irrelevant," when you're the only one playing single deck on this board regularly. Majority of your advice does not, and cannot, apply to many of the other posters on this forum. Hell, half of it doesn't even make sense. Remember the time your advised some green-chipper to come to the tables with only $500? Not even 2 max bets, lol. Give me a break man.

Feel free to continue this discussion with me when you join us in the real world. I'm not holding my breath though.

Yeah... you showed me, Moses. I guess your intellect and your amazing insight was just too much for me to handle. (rolls eyes)

If/when I lose a session br I call it a day, if for nothing else to let my head clear. I've been playing this way for many many years, and I can count the joints I've lost on one hand and have fingers left over...I know many of you on this site question the above and the veracity thereof, but it works for me....Different strokes for different folks I guess...

A $25-$75 spread using Canfield Expert full indices will earn on average $35.54/100 hands with no side counts. Most dealers shuffle at 5 or 6 rounds head up, but I used 7 rounds for the sim. (1D, H17, NDAS, D10 & 11)

Your risk of ruin of spreading $25 to $75 with a $2500 bankroll is 43.6%. Playing above 13.5% ROR (full Kelly) is generally considered a recipe for disaster.

The probability of winning $50,000 in 50,000 hands with the game in this sim is 0.09% (500 hours x $100/hr) If your claim is true ($100/hr consistently with a $75 top bet ) you should count yourself as one of the luckiest blackjack players alive. I've met non counters that have had winning years, so I know unlikely things are possible.

There's nothing wrong with the $35/100 hand win rate and if you can get a fast dealer heads up and drop out of a few negative decks you can likely win $50/hr plus comps. With no travel expenses, I understand how this is attractive.

Most of us with travel expense need more EV, so you don't have to worry about others burning out your game.

Zach Black, check your BR data.

You set the Session BR equal to Trip Bankroll, $2,500.00 each.

If I understand Ronster's explanation, his Session BR is $500.00, with a $2,500.00 Trip BR (Five $500.00 Session Bankrolls). I expect that will further impact your CV sim results.

Moses and Ronster - isn't it amazing how these new age players play 8 deck garbage games and somehow think they know everything? Then they say, "but it has surrender" or "I can bet 2 X 1000 there". ROFLMFAO

You sir, are a relic and the genuine article. It was my rare privilege and distinct honor to make your acquaintance.

After all the years of running up and down hardwoods, it's a relief to know I will not have to board a flight in the morning. It's also a relief to not have to deal in locker room ego's and those with entitlement issues. The game itself was far and away the easiest part of my day.

My point to you is the game we play is easy, even predictable. Life is unpredictable. The forum is like the locker room.

Thank you for renewing my enthusiasm for the game. Not that you need my advice, but a great distance runner once said "never let a losing mentality creep in." As you know, it's easy to spot and avoid in a casino for an experienced player. But it can sneak up on you in a forum. Winning the race itself is the challenge AND the reward. I rarely say this. But you are a Winner in my book.

I changed the Trip BR to $500 and the ROR did not change. I used $2,500 for the total bankroll which is used to calculate the ROR.

I think you missed the point

2 points. When I hide the afikoman (google that), I loudly proclaim to my 4 year grandson and his 18 month old brother - you'll never find it, but whatever you do, dont look under my pillow.
