Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
Can't tell if there's some sarcasm behind that or not. I'm quite gullible when it comes to these things.
Well being carded a fair amount of the time, makes my plan of playing unrated quite hard. Feels Bad Man.
Still can't believe my favorite store is gone. Took it truly for granted all this time.
Obviously there's sensitive, then there's sensitive. Sometimes I forget my index for 15 versus 7 (TC-24), so I step away from the table and look it up on my phone after the shoe ends.
My thought process is, sure everything is recorded in EITS. But no one is actually paying attention to it, if they are looking at my phone, I assume I've already been made and it's over. In fact, looking at the phone may give the illusion im a beginning card counter and thus allow me a chance for a tad more leeway before the tap.
I make a conscious effort to not allow anything AP related to be visible on my phone while in possible viewing distance of the EITS. If I need to do a counting related thing, or open a text from someone that might contain counting related things, I goto the bathroom.
I've not personally worked the EITS, but I've spent years monitoring cameras in other settings. Cell phones are like magnets. I've anecdotally found most security guards armed with a bunch of cameras will zoom in on every phone they see. This is of course provided they are actually looking at the cameras. We actually had to make a policy to not follow random people for more than so many minutes and to not zoom in on cell phones. Most of the security guards tried to anyway. I imagine if the EITS find something counting related, you better bet they'll report it because it will justify all their Candy Crush, Pokemon Go, and juicy break up text watching. The cellphone zooming may be different in a casino because there are lots of machines with all sorts of lights and stuff to watch, but I imagine the same forbidden curiosity remains. Don't give them anything that might get you the tap.
