I was playing with a guy who spread 1x25 to 5x1000. I 'fine tuned" my game and watched for awhile. He was pretty good. Unfortunately, there was no discreet way of exchanging info. Nice guy, but the asshole left me in a negative count.

Mind you, I then had heads up and opened up my game.

Now i do kind of regret it, but this was literally my first month of counting, so i didnt know much about preservation.

On the other hand, what if someone else came and burnt it out while i was trying to milk? I would have missed out on all that play. You never know.

What if they didn't?

I deal with this short sighted attitude a lot deer hunting. To get big bucks in your area you have to let them grow up. I never got any big bucks until I started letting the little ones walk. All these idiots say if I don't shoot the yearling buck someone else will. I just tell them you don't know that, the only certainty is if you shoot the yearling buck that you will never shoot him when he is a huge buck.
