Yeah, I haven't seen anything good by Cardoza, either.
I've read some of his books mostly because they are in my Dad's gambling library which is now mine and they are short. It has been a long time but from memory:
Craps: recommends hedge betting and the 5 count which is just not betting on the first 5 rolls of a shooter so that he can prove himself. The effect is you lose money slower but if you press your bets you lose the last 5 payoofs on a hot roll that can be payoffs 10 fold higher than your starting bet. Pure ploppy BS.
Basically all his books are crap. He sells negative EV systems to gullible audiences.
See I wouldn't speak so quickly about Avery Cardoza's books especially "Winning Casino Blackjack For the Non-Counter". I would keep an open mind. Just because there is a review in there by Arnold Snyder. In the first page here is what Arnold's review say:
"His candor...is refreshing in its honesty.. For the causal player who is not inclined to devote the time necessary for mastering a count strategy, this is the best I've seen of this type".
A lot of Arnold's books are published through Cardoza Publishing like "The Big Book of Blackjack" and "Blackbelt in Blackjack". I know for sure Arnold Snyder is not a ploppy because I've been using some of techniques in his books.
