Played an SD game in MS but not familiar with strategy..

Found an SD game with H17, regular rules except no double after splitting. They dealt 5 rounds in heads up, dropped one round for each additional player (subtracting a round from 6 for each player at the table). It's $25 min. and "checks play" was only being called if more than 4 Green Chips.

I was doing okay but when 2 0ther players joined table, only 3 rounds were being dealt and I left.

How does BS strategy differ from SD from DD? When is splitting not a good idea (if no double on splits)? After one round in a heads up game, if the RC is +1, does the advantage shift to the player?

    Comments, SCORE etc.,

Yeah I don't think it works too good on your phone, a buddy of mine had the same problem.

Mississippi is notorious for backing people off playing single deck who even appear to know what they are doing, not even counting. You have been warned.

Backing off has a lot of complexities to it. If a gambler who played rated, lost tons of money to the delight of the casino chain, he manages to establish a reputation and when he subsequently becomes a good card counter, no one bothers looking at him regardless of his spread. If such a gambler had a 6 figure income from his profession, appears as a wealthy retired old man, the reputation established earlier can protect him for a very long time.

I am am convinced that there are notes against the names of such people telling personnel that someone is a wealthy gambler and to ignore their win at a particular session. Thus, some rated folks can get away with stuff that a 20 or 30 something would get backed off in no time. I played so horribly the first 1-2 years that I still get free room offers and am generally ignored or welcomed even if my past couple of years have been winners.

I've used this excellent free app for practicing basic strategy: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blac...gy/id348323010. It has a feature that allows you to set the rules and number of decks, and then provides a handy basic strategy chart for those conditions.

I have only played single deck once but that doesn't sound too bad to me. 30 card penetration? i'd play it. although, might have been a good idea just to leave so you don't over expose yourself from playing too long. i guess i would rather the 5 rounds heads up, since plops really slow down the game

I just googled "basic strategy single deck blackjack" from my android phone and the chart from the wizard of odds came up. You put more effort posting the question than it takes to find a very simple answer. I don't understand why anyone would help you.
