    That was great information and reading. I see the Colorado River runs behind the casinos. Is there fishing right there? I plan to go there for a day later this year when I visit Vegas. Thanks for the info.

    Fishing here on the river and the lake is mostly good, with occasional huge stripers caught using topwater lures....Also, large & smallmouth bass, as well as channel cat....

    I want to go fishing now.. rarr. I love fishing. Is shore fishing decent, or what's a good method to use? Is there a time of year that's better to fish than others? Where I'm from, we have a spring and fall peak when the water temp gets near 60 F and the fish go nuts.

    Fishing is good year around here in Laughlin. We have the Colorado river, and above the dam is Lake Mohave, both of which have Striper, Large and Smallmouth bass, Trout, and catfish....
