just input the rules of your local casino and then play for a few hours. it will correct you when you make basic strategy mistakes.

after that, you need to learn how to count cards. there are two drills you can do to help you with this. first, flip through a deck of cards. when you see a 2-6 say "+1". don't try to keep count just yet, what you are doing is associating tag values in your mind so that when you see a card you automatically think about its value. 7-9 are neutral and 10, J, Q, K & A are -1. Flip through the deck a few times and simply say or think the value of the card until it is clearly associated in your mind.

The second drill is to flip through a deck of cards but this time maintain a running count. Every low card increases, every high card decreases it. You should be able to predict the last card, it will be the opposite of your running count (so if the running count at the end is -1 it will be low card, if the running count at the end is +1 it will be a high card).
