    Lima, Peru Blackjack

Is anyone familiar with Blackjack in Peru? It seems like the three main casinos that offer it are the Atlantic City Casino, The Fiesta Casino, and the Majestic Casino.

Does anyone have any idea about the rules? CSM's? Which casinos offer the best conditions?

I understand that they are very low stakes.

Normally people don't just share info about locations freely in a forum so your best chances would be through private communication. And since you can't receive PMs for not being a subscriber I suggest you to post an email where people can reach to you.

    Good luck!

My understanding is that the rules are very liberal (full early surrender) but that the penetration is bad. This is based on second hand reports though so I can't say for sure.

A friend of mine got barred in neighboring Colombia very very recently.

I understand that the games are the same in Peru but at (even) lower stakes.

It took 2 full days of play before he was told that he was no longer welcome.

Colombia has some of the best games in the world. Low table maxes though, the highest I saw was $333 USD. Most much lower. You also cannot bring more than 10k usd cash in and out of the country.

I think many people do not fully appreciate this – it’s not “you have to declare anything over 10k”, nor “you have to pay a tax/fine for taking over 10k in or out” –
it’s “anything over 10k will be confiscated” (best case, other consequences might follow if you did not declare)

Do you know if this applies to people who stop by on cruise ships? If anyone knows which casinos I should visit in Cartagena, please inbox me with info.

Yes. Cartagena was reported as all CSM so I did not check it out. There are two shoe games in nearby Barranquilla, both from the Vicca group casinos. Very good rules there. Early Surrender, S17, and split aces for double (yah, u heard me).

Thanks M123. I hope time (o.k. my wife) will be favorable to the side excursion.
