    What would be of value, is knowing the names of, (at least some), casinos that
    deploy this weapon in defense vs. the dubious predations of miscreants like myself.

    BLSV cannot be used live as the voice input is too slow. It is used for tape review. It is also expensive. If used, however, you will get identified as an AP. It doesn't matter what system you use straight counting, STing, or HC play it will get you, and you will get busted when you return.

    It is slightly better than a human counter catcher, but I believe the real reason casinos use it is so the casino managers can get hard data before they 86 a possibly profitable customer.

    Actually it can be used live by using the keyboard instead of the voice input.
    However as you said it is mostly used for a review.
