In the other playoff thingie I think I want the Steelers to win ^_^. I want them to win if they're wearing the white jersey. If they're wearing the dark one I am ambivalent.

Is there a way to tell which jersey they will be wearing beforehand?

Thanks Moses. I like both of the Falcons' jerseys more than the Patriots'. The Falcons' dark one is pretty. I want them to win ^_^.

Me too and I have a high degree of disdain for the Falcons!
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

What boring games. I never seen so many blown calls by the officiating crew for both games. Sure felt like home cooking refereeing.

If YOU refereed both games, do you think the outcomes would have been any different?? :-)

If the refs are not the stars of the game they probably did ok; I don't believe there was a penalty until the 2nd half in one of the games.

If you now anything about football it is very situational. The scores would have been a lot closer and the teams would have played differently. It is hard to imagine a different team winning but everything would have been called differently by the coaches so you can't be sure. GB couldn't stop Atlanta so that one would likely have had a high score for Atlanta in all likelihood. The Patriot game might have been different, like I said the play calling in general and decisions in critical situations would have been different. Patriots likely would have won but certainty is pretty low on that call.

I look at refs like I look at the home plate umpire. As long as they are consistent for both teams I have no problem. But they weren't on Sunday. Like I said it sure looked like good old fashion home team refs in both games.

RB's don't have longevity in the NFL. I am not going to check AP's longevity but I feel he has lasted past the normal 8 year expectancy of a RB in the NFL. That 8 years is actually pretty long for a RB. In the new NFL of pass crazy offenses RB's are not valued much unless they can also pass block and catch passes. AP's games were not aired much in my area. But in the limited exposure I had to seeing him play he didn't do much of that. His value was as a running threat. And he was a serious running threat for quite a while. That got you yards and opened up the passing game as the defense had to account for him. Now he is not much of a threat, except for reputation, and can't block or catch passes. Not much of a market for that but someone might pick him up.

So he is already 2 years past the typical career of a RB.
