Lol Freightman. Yes, I made the poll as a joke. I'm actually very confident in my potential abilities and am extremely successful in other aspects of life. I just know for every successful counter, there are probably 100 that failed. I can't imagine how many must stumble in here and expect this to be an easy route to an alternative lifestyle. It was a weird way of me saying I am aware of the difficulties and hours of practice that this is going to take. I'm actually extremely successful I'd say.

Barny and myoung, I'd like to talk more with you guys about your beginning strategy and BR! If you haven't already, CVBJ is a MUST!

Fireman, I do indeed have CVBJ. I'm extremely impressed with your software Norm. It will definitely prove to be an invaluable tool.

For every successful full time counter, it's more like a thousand failed, ten thousand became par-time players and 5000 became valet perking attendants in Vegas.

    Was 'perking' an appropriate malapropism?

I was going to comment on that, and you have encouraged me to do so. Given the comment is attributable to Zee, we should adjust his prose to reflect the comment 'valet jerking". Has a certain je nest ce quois".

Ahhh....well yes, Freight, but in "that world" valet 'jerking' is probably a subset of valet 'perking'.

Hmmm, a new Vegas strip game - Valet Jerk Off. Should put a smile on someone's face. Reminds me of a guy who was asked to make a donation to the Sperm bank. "No thanks", he replied, "I gave at the office".

    ZeeBabar,

You imply that being a car jockey marks one as a failure.
On the strip you need to be "juiced in" as they earn six
figure incomes. The figure you gave of 5,000 is bizarre.

You have to pay to get a plum job as a valet in a Strip Hotel. This is a high paying position.

I have heard of some that have refused huge promotions into management because they didn't want to take the pay that would happen when they were no longer a valet parking attendant.

I'm a case in point. I began my ad hoc career with a mere $800 and now have $170k.
