Hiopt2 is not written about much. The original info is a pamphlet that is hard to get a hold of. "Play Blackjack Like The Pros" by Kevin Blackwood dedicates a chunk of the book to the hiopt systems HO1 and HO2 and gives a reduced set of compromise indices (Indices are all either -2, 0, or +2, or multiples of 5).
Half the 15% is generated by increasing your bets at the same RoR. If you keep your bets the same for both hilo and zen the half of the increase in EV that comes from betting more will still be there but in the form of reduced RoR and less variance. If you keep RoR the same and increase your bets so both use optimal bet ramps for your desired RoR, spread and BR. Variance in dollars will increase from the higher bets but EV will also be higher due to the higher bets.
You are basically playing a game similar to wong in at with a max bet of $530 ( 2 x $400) 3/6 game. i believed you said at tc +1 betting 2 x $400. with a 100k bank . It does not sound good to me. N Zero would be huge . Not trying to be disrespect you but does not sound like a good idea. i would probably play with ZEN ramping at tc 4,5,6,7 with $200 ,$300 ,$400,$500 .
