    HI-LO Indexes - 2D vs 6D

For the HI-LO game of DAS, H17, D3, I used CVBJ to print all of the Index Tables for 2D and 6D.

Results: there was absolutely no difference in the Indexes between 2D vs 6D. Could this be true???????

    Thank you for your time.

CVBJ includes the tables from the books. Almost no books have DD indices.

2D, 4D, 6D, 8D have the same index tables. The difference is trivial. More careful books call it the index table for multiple deck. Double deck BJ is closer to 6D/8D than to single deck BJ, believe or not. For most AP playing all kinds of BJ, you only need to memorize four sets of tables: S17 SD, S17 multiple deck, H17 SD, H17 multiple deck. Since SD is phasing out, people only need to memorize two sets.

Don, I am not sure what you mean by that comment. I have your BJA3 & I couldn't find any HI-LO indices.

Gamemaster/Bill Channels, who had the BJ school online at Blackjackinfo.com and bj21.com was a DD proponent. Here is a link to his charts:

Try reading every page. You will find it on page 213 in edition 3 of BJA.
