    Does ANyone Use CVData

To answer my own question, I found "CVData," software that claims to duplicate shuffling and allows you to set rules. It's $90. Does anyone use this software and if so, how do you like it? I personally am not interested in a program that will spoon feed me the count. I just want a software game that will duplicate a mortar and brick table with shuffling, deck penetration, etc. Thanks.

What is your level f expertise. If you're where I think you are, CVCX will do just fine - which I now use mainly for fast down and dirty sims. It will quite efficiently duplicate most if not all f the situations you will find yourself in. CVData can certainly perform much more complex sims, which can be called up in CVCX - the question is do you need it.

If money is not an issue. If money I s a constraint, just get CVCX for now, and it will almost certainly take care of your current needs.

$90? I am glad that I purchased the software earlier. Buying is a gain sometime. Wonder why the price of the software went up. Was no new features added.

I think he's talking about CVBJ or CVCX, both of which are $90. CVBJ has been $90 for 20 years.

(thanks for all replies) Norm, it's actually more than $90. CVData St is $250 and CVData V5 is $175. I've seen "CVData" on other sites for $81 but it's hard to know what version.

You can buy (what seems like) all their basic products for $290, research and simulators.

Seems like most of their products stayed in the 80, 90 dollar range but CVData skyrocketed.

I'm the author, so I'm not objective. CVData is more expensive because it is lower volume and takes a lot of time for me to support.

Freightman, thanks for the clarification. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. (In a different context) I know what goes into selling and supporting software.

Beat me to it. I remember the bit was about Citi; but couldn't figure out how to find it.

    Norm,

GIYF. But they couldn't actually state Citi, so it became First Citywide Change Bank. I was looking for a better version of the SNL skit with an announcer, and good graphics of change. But this one was sufficient.
