Here's a few other books that you should look up on Amazon, and consider purchasing for your AP education and library:

1 - Griffin, Peter - The Theory of Blackjack (E)

    2 - Schlesinger, Don - Blackjack Attack (E)

    3 - Wong, Stanford - Professional Blackjack (E)

    4 - Thorp, Edward - Beat the Dealer (E)

    5 - Barfarkel - You've Got Heat

6 - Tilton, Nathaniel - The Blackjack Life

7 - Humble, Lance - The World's Greatest Blackjack Book

8 - Carlson, Bryce - Blackjack for Blood

    9 - Vancura & Fuchs - Knock-Out Blackjack

10 - Revere, Lawrence - Playing Blackjack as a Business

11 - Snyder, Arnold - Blackbelt in Blackjack

12 - Uston, Ken - Million Dollar Balckjack

"E" - Essential for any AP

    Thanks.
    I have the four firsts.

I was thinking about books which talks about advantage played, with other games than BJ.

The late Katrina Walker (google her or check on Amazon) wrote a book on Spanish 21, which provides a strong foundation on the game (and similar games played in countries not called the United States of America), but the game has changed, and from what I have read, the approaches have evolved. But it is a start for someone interested in learning games other than blackjack.

Not too familiar with any books written on 3CP, MS, BJSwitch, War, etc. You might find books on UTH, but most likely related to the game dealt with physical playing cards.

Btw, books by Barfarkel, Nathaniel Tilton, and even ones by Barry Meadows and Glenn Wiggy (sp?) give decent insight into the emotions that APs (well at least blackjack counters) can expect to experience.

I don't understand the game has changed meant. The other side know much more about the game? Rules restriction or rules changes?

    Read entries from archived forums!!!!!

Early in my self education I found that much of the information I wanted was not consolidated well.

Google searching the topics of interest usually lead to many of the answers and even differing views on the topics. Nothing beats your own research!

Agree with Stealth wholeheartedly here. There is a wealth of information in old threads. And you cannot rely upon just the thread title alone as many branch off into different areas or "sub-threads" with good hints or information not really related to the topic. Indexing/searching by topic helps but one of these days someone might be able to put together their own paper or useful book with the information that is found in the various forums (not just this one), properly grouped or categorized. Beyond my purview. Or time constraints.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
