Unless you are in Vegas or a few other destinations casinos don't tend to blackbook you unless you are a real recurring pain. What you describe is someone trying to get in the blackball by a casino that rarely makes entries.In Vegas you don't just have to worry about security but OSN operatives that rove around to the counter traps and enter your info on their own. They may follow you to get your name if the casino doesn't have it. They are known by employees and have their allies so it isn't too hard for them to find out who you are to add to the photos taken of you. You have to remember these guys aren't employed by the casinos and are deceives so they may stick with you as long as it takes to get the info they want. Often known team players get a list of known associates. Anyway the point is nothing good comes from trying to go back or trying to play when you are unwelcome. If you are in the book already I guess you have nothing to lose other than an update on your most recent appearances.

In that case, I would say the casino was the cause of the disturbance. But, I would also say this would be a bad move for both parties. The casino for annoying many customers by not finding a better countermeasure and the player for making it patently obvious that the casino should find better countermeasures. If I were the casino and someone was that blatant, I'd bring out a camera for a closeup and say "say cheese."

No I don't think that they can flat bet you but they can take countermeasures as We Know the one I seen a few weeks ago its store in Saint Charles Missouri they would cut 10 - 12 cards and the amount and every two hands you had to shuffle. Well who's going to sit through that

Look in the blog section (is card counting legal) and you can read the gaming commission rules/regs page that discusses blackjack, which I posted on this forum. Looks pretty black and white to me, not to mention that I'm very active in Missouri and I've never been barred. Take what you want from that.

I guess I was just wondering what occurs in practice--the tests that are currently occurring, in other words. Norm, has a good point too that ultimately testing it is costly to player, possibly casino. I was just wondering how the casino conditions are changing because of this rule as well... And the last thing I was wondering was should a low stakes counter take an extended trip to Missouri to build his bankroll up to the next level?

IF, by "low stakes player", you are referring to "red-chip play" the answer is NO.

That is because there are worthwhile games to play that have $25 minimums.

Playing at that level requires a cash bankroll between $20,000 and 30,000,

depending upon the actual table conditions.

Or, put differently, all the games at the red chip level suck and it's way to better to be there to play their good games.

I need to 8x my bankroll to be at that level, Zen. I'm not a beneficiary of the old world order; yet.

I am actually quite happy with my low ball games. They have some very decent rules relative to the crap I've seen elsewhere. Vegas was VERY disappointing last time I went there.

Seems that we are stuck on "disruptive". Clearly not illegal. It looks like it's an anarchic balance currently.

I'm backed off of 5 of my 7 local joints, the 2 that I'm good at are csm and are of no interest. 3 of the 5 were exceedingly polite and professional, all saying essentially - Sorry Freightman, your game is to strong etc etc. At the smallest of the joints (the second time) the table games mgr actually said she didn't know the reason - she actually walked away for clarification - I was allowed on premise for food, entertainment and recreation which clearly is non disruptive, yet some dealers were being told that I was rude. The last one, a big joint, I had milked for a long time and cumulative. I knew it was coming. Yet they chose the rude routine. They wanted to p, I think to keep a reputation for tolerance. I also have to say that my general geographic area had been hit hard by teams and individual solo artists, and nice guys like me got caught up in the sweep, so to speak.

The point is, disruptive behaviour, real or not, is easier to sell to the regulars who are used to seeing you. To ban you for counting at the table literally tells the others that you can play as long as you're dumb.
