News from AC and East Coast Gaming Congress: Help or Hindrance? New casinos NJ?

Wondered what you "easterners" thought about this development coming out of New Jersey?

I don't think just building two casinos closer to NYC will necessary "force" NY to approve casino building in same area but it might. Most of you have said AC is dying, dead, won't be rehabilitated, etc.

New York is not likely to build a real casino near NYC. The Northern NJ casino concept makes some sense to me. But, it's complex and less than likely to happen.

“Mark it down in your pads today: It’s going to happen,” Resorts Casino Hotel president Mark Giannantonio said.

How can you doubt a man with a name like that?

Never trust a man with more than two of the same letter in his name. Oops, nevermind.

Not to worry - but do consider a fast food burger chain.

Creative advertising such as commercials with unicorns in them look like the way to go also. The most hilarious commercial I've ever seen... be sure to watch it all the way to the end.

Speaking of toilet humor. Did you all see the news story on the guy that had a 10 foot python swim up his plumbing into his toilet and decide to grab hold of the guys penis. Google it. The python is huge. There is blood everywhere in the bathroom. They had to dismantle the toilet to save the snake. I am talking the reptile not the trouser snake. The trouser snake is in the hospital and if the usual infection from nasty reptile mouths doesn't set in should remain attached to the guy that doesn't look in the toilet before sitting down.

I have learned big snakes love toilets because in the heat they are cool places. Around here the worst you find is a 6+ foot black snake or king snake. I still am not about to dangle my snake in front of one. Especially the king snake which gets its name from consuming other snakes as its favorite meal.
