    DD Ace Side Count Question

I've recently added an Ace side count to my DD play. I know it is not supposed to affect your betting strategy if you use an Ace-reckoned count (which I do). But what about a situation where you know that all the Aces are gone? Say you have a TC of +10 and know that there are no Aces left. Would you still put out your TC +10 bet or would you feather it back some?

Well, if you bet proportionally to the count, you would bet less. But I'd say not much, because maybe all the 5s are gone too; and maybe none of the 9s are gone. If you max bet at +4 or so, you'd still max bet. If you're side counting aces, you should just switch to an ace-neutral count to increase your PE. It'd be much more beneficial and your TC wouldn't require an 'eyeball' adjustment.

With a Level One Count that is NOT Ace reckoned your Running Count
would decrease by one for each deficit Ace (per quarter deck) so ...
if you have one deck remaining your count would be reduced by 4,
and you'd scale back your doubles on 10 or less and vice versa with
    11's.
