    Southern cross country trip recommendations?

In a month I will be taking a cross country trip departing from Southern California. My only planned stops are Vegas, Albuquerque, San Antonio, Biloxi, Tunica, then up to DC. Does anyone have recommendations for this route/these cities? I noticed that, according to CBJN, there is an Albuquerque casino offering free ace on $100 bet, which makes it worth a stop for me, other than that I have no casino destinations included. I am willing to alter my route slightly depending on what's available. Promotions and blackjack with tiny house edges are what I treasure.

Don't forget about the $5 free slot play (at the $100 free ace casino)!

I highly recommend Asheville, NC. Gorgeous scenery and a great restaurant/bar scene downtown. There's a large tribal casino about an hour from Asheville (Harrah's Cherokee). The blackjack there is not great (H17, 6D, no RSA, no LS) but the pen is quite variable. If you're already in that "neck of the woods," there's no harm in stopping in to check it out, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way to hit that casino.

Seriously? Why don't the members of this forum pool about $100,000 and attack this? Isn't that like $50,000 in the bank?

The free ace. Why don't we all go get a free ace, but as much as possible with it, and team bankroll it so it doesn't matter if an individual loses. We'd tear it up. Unless he meant 100 is the max bet, then I don't understand why it's worth a special trip.

    Yeah, it's $100 max bet.

I actually went by there with a friend on a road trip (non-gambling trip). Played the DD game, did 2 hands of $100 (my friend played the 2nd on my money). Lost one, won the other. Count goes way positive, played remainder of the DD with 2x300-400. Made a couple bucks and went on my way.

Probably not worth going out of your way for it, but I guess it depends on how "worth it" it is for you.

We should recruit a bunch of homeless people to get free aces for us. $50 bucks a pop, give them 5 bucks...a million homeless people.
