    CVBJ fatigue

When I use my CVBJ program, after some time of play, it will slow down and some functions will freeze. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a problem with the software or is it my computer?

Slowing down sounds very odd. E-mail to [email protected] the full release numbers (Help-About) and what kind of PC.

Indeed, prior to V5, CVBJ could freeze on PCs with inadequate cooling. In V5, I dramatically reduced the CPU usage.

Yes! It sits on the floor with a lot of space around it. It is a six or seven year old Dell with XP professional and pentium 4.

What version of CVBJ? Have you vacuumed the dust out of the PC vents And heatsink? In that period of time, the heatsink would be stuffed with dust if not cleaned.

I had a serious virus problem about a month ago which I couldn't resolve. So, I hired a geek to fix it. He did all kinds of updates and we even took the tower outside to blow out any dust. Still, my Casino Verite v5.5 software slows down after some use. Some things don't function correctly such as betting in one of the spots. It will even show incomplete images such as partial betting chips. Any ideas?

Sometimes I have the issue with partial betting chips and cards not completely removed after a hand.

Sometimes random programs like to set themselves in your BOOT sequence and use processor resources all day... try to run a "msconfig" and uncheck everything except really important stuff... if you arent sure, just search the program name in question. then install prolasso, (from bitsum, so there is no stupid toolbars on your browser) let that be a regular part of your BOOT sequence from now on ... its FREE , and it "lassos" programs from hogging your computer power, you can even set one porgram to be more "important " than others , like - casino V -
then run disk defrag tonight ... probably been awhile ...
you could also download a cleaner like C-Cleaner and just clean up old files that are hogging memory and old programs .
... that should speed everything up...hope that helps
