For some years, CVData has supported strategy generation for hole-carding (knowing the exact downcard), partial hole-carding (knowing the downcard is one of two or more cards), and full and partial next-carding, including counting strategies, and Spanish 21. It has also included simulation for hole-carding and next-carding. However, it has NOT included simulation of partial hole-carding strategies. You could generate the strategies, but not measure them. This has now been added.
The update is free to V5 users. However, I will be increasing the price of CVData a bit in a week or so.
To get a better idea of what I’m talking about, here is a sample screen and what it does. NOTE: This is meant as a sample only. It is not a combination that I’ve heard of in actual use.

The strategy on the Playing screen is the strategy that defines the base strategy. It may never be used and is usually set to Basic Strategy. However, if you are counting, it contains the counting strategy used. This is a normal 10 column strategy.
Click the Nuances button and then the HoleCard tab. Click on Partial HC to switch from normal hole-carding to partial hole-carding.
HC Seen % is the percentage of hands where you see the HC. When you don’t see it, the playing strategy on the Playing screen is used.
Win Insurance Percentage is the percent of times you choose to win when you know you can win.
Up to three additional strategies can be specified at the bottom of the HC screen. The strategy is selected by the hole card info specified by the check marks. That is, if the downcard is a six or seven, the strategy PHC 67 would be used in this example.
The first of these three strategies is a 23 column HC strategy and the two others are 10 column standard strategies. That is, the first strategy has a column for each of the possible dealer full hands (4-20 hard hands and six soft hands). The other two have standard columns based only on the dealer upcard. You’ll need to generate and attach the needed strategies.
So, in this case, if you know the downcard is an ace or face, you will use a full hole-carding strategy based on the dealer hand total. If you know it is a six or seven, you use the second strategy based on the dealer upcard. If you know it is not any of these, you use the last strategy based on the dealer upcard that you have specifically generated for this situation. If the downcard is not checked for any of these strategies, the playing strategy on the Playing screen is used.
Strategies can be basic or counting. Spanish 21 is also supported.
