That's exactly right. But the difficulty of obtaining the publication has no relevance to whether or not there is a copyright violation. I was merely suggesting that a proper cite would have alleviated any concern on this board in my "formerly" legal opinion. LOL Not much likelihood he was going to get any "commercial" gain from the use, intended or not intended (even if NOT cited) and posting a mathematical matrix might not even reach the level of a copyright violation anyway, if it wasn't some theory or formula that was proprietary. Unless I'm misunderstanding what Norm was originally referring to.
Otherwise you could run results of sims using Norm's program (which is protected); post them and they would be "technically" considered a copyright violation. Don't think that's what is involved in this particular case. But then I got into this thing in the middle of the postings.
