Advice on how to get in contact with Nevada Gaming Commission. Please help

I need an advice on how to get in contact with Nevada Gaming Commission. Here is what happened: I was playing at the Palace Station casino Las Vegas. The table limit started at $5 then raised up to $10. The guy who worked in the pit told us that we are grandfathered. One hour later the lady pit boss and guy pit boss came over and told the dealer any new player needs to play $10. The dealer told the lady pit boss that we are grandfathered. Then she said there is no grandfathering. I told him if that is the case than I need to speak with the Nevada Gaming Commission. Then he came close to me and told me if I want to play $5 than play on another table which the game is not blackjack.

I told him how can I call the Nevada Gaming Commission? I am asking where is the house phone where I can call the gaming control board. He refused to tell me. Then I speak with the security that is standing next to an empty and closed table. He got another security and asked me what happened. I told them about the grandfathering issue and told them that he revised to show me the phone to where I can call the Nevada Gaming Control board. He got the pit supervisor to come over to speak with me and he told me a different story. Basically he is saying that he is not there when that situation occurred and that I didn't told him I was grandfathered. I then said this is too flaky and left.

May experience AP please help with this situation.

They ruled there is no grandfathering. What's the problem?

    Good luck!

While I may not fully understand your incident, I suspect the "grandfathering" will be deemed to be a courtesy not a regulation. Not very hopeful about a happy ending!

Does it explicitly state that in the gaming regulations?

You should probably know the regs you're talking about.

Do you think they might remember you the next time you go to play there seriousplayer?
Play within your bankroll, pick your games with care and learn everything you can about the game. The winning will come. It has to. It's in the cards. -- Bryce Carlson

I didn't do anything illegal what can they do me? I am planning to take a break and go to other casinos.

They claim that burning a card at the beginning of the deck is a courtesy as well. I do hope they think that way so I could card steer the heck out of those games.

No disrespect intended, but if a $10 minimum is too steep, you probably should not be playing at all until you have a reasonable bankroll. The Nevada Gaming Control Board will not be able to help; there is no gaming regulation requiring a $5 minimum or requiring the grandfathering of a player when the minimum is increased. Forget about it.

Here is where you will find a short list of active and available regulations concerning gaming in the state of Nevada:

    http://gaming.nv.gov/index.aspx?page=51

Also, someone correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't each Vegas casino have a NGCB representative/agent on premise? Serious could (should have?) have inquired to the pit that he would like to talk to the agent about gaming regulations, instead of being snarky:

serious:"Hi, do you guys have an agent on site I can talk to?"
    pit:"Possibly. Why do you ask?"
serious:"I was wondering about some rules that I am confused about and would like someone from NGCB to clear thing up for me. No problems, just something that I would like answered."

Most likely, they would have brushed you off or at least pestered you as to why you want to talk to an agent. (Are we doing anything illegal on premise this guy knows about?) Other than that, you could just walk around the casino looking for a 'booth' with the agent inside. Anyone asks, be honest or use the "el bano, por favor!" excuse.

I am not saying that $10 minimum is too steep. I have the bankroll to play $10 but I choose not and I don't like be force to do it.

There is validity to what the Bear is saying. The unspoken logical thought is that you will be relegated to crowded tables with poor rules. The other issue of course, regardless of low stakes, is making yourself memorable. Really not worth the argument.

Nevada normally does not have Gaming agents on casino premises unless there is a specific call for their presence or they are conducting an investigation.
