NO IT DOES NOT... ISSUES are CASINO IDENTITY ISSUES.. NOT TAX ISSUES.

Avoiding a CTR to avoid giving your identity to a Casino is NOT structuring.. Avoiding a CTR to avoid taxes is.

The reason an AP would avoid a CTR is to not give up his identity so if he is Backed offed, 86'd ETC.. The casino doesn't know who he is..

If you are a law abiding citizen and pay your taxes, you have nothing to worry about.

I assume everyone here pays their taxes, my advice was to avoid the casino, Not Uncle Sam.

The purpose of a CTR is to identify people making large cash transactions. Nothing to do with taxes. Structuring is structuring. Motive is irrelevant.

I don't believe that what I do fits the criteria that the law defines as structuring, specifically with respect to the "purpose" stated in the law. But, I'm not a lawyer, and out of respect for Norm, I'll drop the subject.

Back to the original question, I'd say winning or losing a lot are reasons to leave. Also, you probably don't want to be bombing away at a game for a whole shift. 2x$25 for a long time should be fine, but not 2x$1000.

But this subject probably deserves its own thread.
I'm starting one over in the legal section.
